You should know that since you've started pre-school the last month, our drives to and from school/work have become some of my favorite times of the day with you. I cherish hearing you call out all the letters, numbers and shapes you see along our drive. While it's been a big adjustment for you, like everything you do, you've absolutely excelled and have blown away your teachers with how bright you are. You have an exuberance that draws people to you like a magnet.
I suspect this will always be the case.
I also suspect that as the milestones come flying by and you go to kindergarten, get your first job, have your first girlfriend, graduate high school, go to college, get married that I will always see this little boy in the man you will become.
This gorgeous happy, smart, funny, fierce and wide-open free spirit that looked back at me so many times in the rear-view mirror allowing me the amazing priveledge to be your mama.
